Knockout Greg & The Scandinavian Blues Flames

In the series of notable bands that we are bringing back to our 35th Anniversary festival, you will also find the Swedish blues stars in KnockOut Greg & the Scandinavian Blue Flames. Greger Andersson is a fantastic singer, harmonica player and guitarist in the tradition of Sven Zetterberg. This band is perhaps the very best that the strong Swedish blues community has to offer today. KnockOut Greg has played at the Notodden Blues Festival several times with his former band Blue Weather and with Sven Zetterberg. KnockOut Greg & the Scandinavian Blue Flames play exquisite traditional blues and world-class soul. The band consists of Knockout Greg – vocals, guitar, harmonica, Tomi Leino – guitar, Lars Näsman – bass, Marcus Andersson – drums and Fredrik Humlin – keyboards.
