“We simply chose the best when launching our first female artist on the 2020 program. Shemekia Copeland is Blues, Americana, Rock, Soul and Gospel in a huge power pack. We are very happy that she chose us at a time when she will be releasing a new album. Personally, I think Shemekia is better than ever. This is good news for our audience, ”says festival director Jostein Forsberg.
Shemekia Copeland is outstanding among blues sisters in terms of record releases, honors and prestigious festival performances.
