In recent years, Anita Nordheim has established herself as a prominent voice on the Norwegian blues scene. Together with her band, she offers an explosive mix of blues, soul and groove – always with high intensity and joy of playing.
The band has already made a name for itself at various festivals such as Trandalblues, Balejazz, Målrock and previous performances at the Notodden Blues Festival, as well as at many club stages across the country. Now they are relevant with their second album, which will be released in March 2026.
Live they are known for delivering concerts that make the audience smile, dance and feel the music in their bodies long after the last note.
“For me, the blues is about communication and emotions. It should swing, but it should also mean something,” says Anita Nordheim.
