Blue Benders
Blue Benders is the young band that is turning the Swedish blues scene on its head.
With their youthful energy, empathy, fantastic stage performance and musical abilities, they are currently putting Sweden and the rest of Scandinavia at their feet. In 2023, the band also managed to play their way to a razor-sharp 2nd place in the international competition "European Blues Challenge". The audience loves this band, and it will be a true joy to have them visit Notodden for the first time.
Blue Benders was born out of the vibrant blues scene in Gamlebyen, Stockholm where they spent many late nights at historic places such as Stampen and St Clara before they were officially formed in May 2021. The sound of Blue Benders consists of a wonderful, multifaceted mix of blues, rock, soul and funk that is constantly alive and surprising. We look forward to presenting these guys to our audience.
