SPOONFUL OF BLUES FAMILY REVIVAL

Blues-Notodden's newest band project is Spoonful of Blues Family Revival. This project was originally announced as a one-off event for Elvebyen Bluesklubb in February 2026. When this concert was announced, all tickets were snapped up in a few days. For the first time, Spoonful of Blues brought the legendary fathers of the band's new guitarists with them. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree when their fathers are Trond Ytterbø from Notodden Bluesband and Espen Fjelle from Kåre Virud Band, R & B Express and Norsk Utflukt. Spoonful of Blues Family Revival is a meeting between generations and the first opportunity for these four to play together on stage in this way. "We were really looking forward to that concert in Drammen, and all expectations were met. To experience the success it turned out to be was really nice. "It couldn't have been better, and now we are delighted that the concept was requested by Notodden Blues Festival," says Jostein Forsberg in Spoonful of Blues.
