The Lowdown Saints

The Lowdown Saints were formed in 2020 in Gamla Stan in Stockholm, where they were the house band every week at the legendary jazz club "Stampen". This brought them together and created a sound, swing and energy that really appealed to the audience! We are talking about a high-octane mix of rhythm & blues, oldschool blues and fast-paced rock & roll with the band's two guitarists and a young harmonica ace in the front, as well as a rhythm section with two of Sweden's heaviest names in blues as anchors behind drums, vocal microphone and bass! The band is also one of the most sought-after when it comes to leading Bluesjam at festivals such as Åmåls Bluesfest and Östersunds Bluesfest, etc. Now they will also be given that task at Notodden Blues Festival 2026. Early in 2021 they went into the studio and recorded their debut album "Hit Me Hard", which was released in September of the same year. The follow-up "Hard Player" was released in August 2025, and the band has now gained a good reputation in Europe after playing major festival concerts in several countries.
