Anne Fagermo

Anne Fagermo is known to most people from TV through her impressive performances in The Voice and Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix 2024.

Anne is a genuine country soul, born and raised with a love for open country roads, heartfelt lyrics and timeless Americana music. Fagermo possesses a storytelling ability that rocks and a singing voice that touches the listener to the innermost roots of the heart. Anne Fagermo was also an audience winner on the Rootsville stage during the Notodden Blues Festival 2023. It is pleasing to note that Anne Fagermo will return to Notodden to perform on the festival's popular Rootsville stage in 2024 as well.
Fagermo's mentor in The Voice, Espen Lind, referred to her as follows: "The way Anne performs a song is perhaps the noblest art in singing". It can hardly be said better.
Anne Fagermo's music is heavily inspired by artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift and Brandi Carlile. Her performance on The Voice Norway with a cover version of Bruce Springsteen's "I'm On Fire" went viral on TikTok.

In October 2023, Fagermo released the song "Judge Tenderly Of Me" with country artist Dag Erik Oksvold. They competed with the self-written song in Norway's national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest (Melodi Grand Prix) in early 2024. They made the top 5 and performed in Trondheim Spektrum for almost 9,000 people and a million TV viewers. Now you can see this great artist at the Notodden Blues Festival's Rootsville stage on Friday 2 August.
