Since the album release “Unfolded Wings” in 2023, Johanna Demker has been touring continuously with her rock-solid band.
This has resulted not only in new enthusiastic fans, but also in a live album that will be released in the spring. The band has also just started recording a new studio album, so 2025 will be a year of great activity for Demker and the band.
Live, Johanna Demker's expression can be described as country-rock/Americana with a fresh and catchy sound, with top-shelf musicians. The response to Johanna's self-composed music is always good, and the audience is moved by both the lyrics and impressive instrumental performances.
After six albums and a career as a songwriter in Europe, Johanna released a new album in April 2023. The album received a fantastic reception, including a dieningkast 6 in Norway's leading music magazine Blues News. In 2025, both a double Live album and a studio album with new songs will be released - the first studio album with what is now her permanent band with Marius Lien on guitar, Auver Gaaren on piano, organ, Lap-steel, Kim André Tønnesen on bass and Martin Utby on drums.
