Stein Torleif Bjella

One of Norway's leading singers and most popular artists is bringing his best songs and a top-notch band to Notodden. The concert is free, which has once again been made possible through the unique collaboration between Notodden Blues Festival and LO and the Norwegian trade union movement. 

"It is incredibly great that we can keep this popular tradition going, and it is enormously pleasant for us to be able to invite the audience to a free closing concert of this year's blues festival with the super-current artist Stein Torleif Bjella. Bjella is a big favorite for many. This has been further manifested through his enormous success in this year's season of the popular program "Hver gang vi møtes". What a fantastic end to this year's festival this is going to be", says an enthusiastic general manager of Notodden Blues Festival, Halvor Sælebakke. 

This will be a completely unique opportunity for people to get to know the quirky Ål artist and his unique musical universe better. The stage is set for a concert experience that hits right at the heartstrings. Bjella has a very special place in the Norwegian artist scene, with a unique ability to reach people from rural and urban areas with her honest, down-to-earth and at the same time poetic lyrics.
