Blood Brothers and Good Time Charlie added to the line up for 2026!

A blues super band is on its way to Notodden Blues Festival 2026. Blood Brothers with Mike Zito and Albert Castiglia are collecting awards and festival appearances in buckets and buckets. 10 x Blues Music Award Winner Mike Zito and five x BMA Winner Albert Castiglia are true blood brothers in life and in music. 
Blood Brothers is the explosive collaboration of two of today's most respected and award-winning blues rock artists: Mike Zito and Albert Castiglia. After decades of friendship, touring and parallel careers, the two guitarists joined forces to form a powerful musical partnership based on intuitive interaction, shared history and a deep love for blues music. Good Time Charlie was founded in 1982 and is considered a pioneer band for authentic rhythm & blues in Norway. With inspiration from New Orleans R&B, West Coast blues, boogie woogie and rockin’ soul, they have developed a distinctive and impactful sound. The band has collaborated with legendary names such as Lowell Fulson, Hubert Sumlin, Pinetop Perkins and Jimmy Dawkins, and has garnered both national and international recognition. With 13 critically acclaimed albums and several nominations for the Spellemannprisen, the band has left a clear mark.
