Deep Purple to Notodden Blues Festival!
This year's Notodden Blues Festival was a great success with record ticket sales and full houses everywhere. With our 35th anniversary well under way, today we open our traditional "earlybird" sale of tickets and launch the first artists for the Notodden Blues Festival 2024.
It is a pleasure to announce Deep Purple as the first headliner for the festival on Friday 2 August. With Deep Purple as the headliner, we take our rock Friday to new heights. Other artists who are ready are the Mississippi artist Cedric Burnside, the award-winning British artist Elles Bailey, Trickbag from Sweden, Paal Flaata and Daniel Eriksen's new musical project, Chicken Skin Music, where he together with Mattis Kleppen, Viktor Wilhelmsen and Stig Sjøstrøm interpret selected songs from the catalog of Ry Cooder.
