Thirteen artists ready for NBFs first release for 2026!

We can literally feel the summer, sun and festival atmosphere on our bodies already when we can announce a major release with a varied artist list that includes, among others, Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band, Dumdum Boys, Raga Rockers, Rick Estrin & The Nightcats, Bjørn Berge, The Temperance Movement, Elles Bailey, etc. There are big and popular artists in this release. We are very pleased, "says general manager Halvor Sælebakke at Notodden Blues Festival.

The audience was very happy after this year's festival. The consensus was that it had been one of the best at Notodden ever. "We are now launching a large list with something for every taste. There are solid blues names like Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Rick Estrin & The Nightcats, Norwegian favorites like Bjørn Berge, Daniel Eriksen and our new star Adama Janlo. The Fokefest section is currently taken care of by greats in Norwegian rock, Dumdum Boys and Raga Rockers, as well as the local favorites in Byting. More powerful rock will be with the British The Temperance Movement, while the blues program is further strengthened with the Swedish favorites in The Lowdown Saints and Blue Benders as well as the Norwegian Anita Nordheim Blues n' Groove Company. This is a rare big and strong first release from us, I am happy with this," says artistic director of Notodden Blues Festival, Jostein Forsberg.

"This fall, we experienced a really big early bird sale of festival passes. Now we are launching our Christmas offer. There is good money to be saved for those who buy festival passes now at the best possible price," says Halvor Sælebakke.
