Legendary band back to Notodden for the first time in 17 years!

Legendary American band Little Feat return to Notodden Blues Festival for first time In 17 years, to perform an exclusive Scandinavian show on Saturday August 2nd 2025. 

Rockin’ since 1969 with fans from the Rolling Stones and Jimmy Page to Matt Healy of the 1975, 17 studio albums, hits from “Willin’”, to “Spanish Moon”, with a reinvigorated lineup, the greatest underrated rock band are back to their best. 

Little Feat – the genre-blending pioneers of American Rock, today announced their first European date in 12 years, with an exclusive Scandinavian show at Notodden Blues Festival, on Saturday August 2nd, 2025. Blending Blues, Country, Funk, Americana, New Orleans and Jazz with some of the most skilled musicianship in rock history, Little Feat are once again hitting the road. Expect a 2 hour show with all the classics from entire catalogue, and of course, their celebrated live album ‘Waiting for Columbus’ notably considered by Rolling Stone magazine, as one the greatest live albums of all time. 

Just last year, Little Feat released the Grammy nominated Blues album ‘Sam’s Place’ which featured Bonnie Raitt on the lead single and duet with long time band member Sam Clayton. Now in 2025 Little Feat have released Strike up the Band, their first new record of original material in over 10 years. Produced by Vance Hall (Phish, Chris Stapleton, Jack White) the album received glowing reviews. Rolling Stone noted, “They really don’t make records like Strike Up the Band anymore,” while The New York Times declared, “Little Feat has every right to celebrate its own longevity.” Clearly, this is the album fans have been waiting for and an undeniable statement from a band entering its 56th year.
