Stave Church Concert, Blues Cruise and known names are added to the rooster!

Our church concerts have time and again proven to be well-suited places for this. On Wednesday, July 29, we invite you to a new and atmospheric church concert in Heddal Stave Church. This time, the audience is invited to a very special musical experience, where the expression of the blues meets the power of gospel. 

The concert is an international collaboration with Damer i blues, with Margit Bakken and Rita Engedalen at the forefront. After last year's success at the festival, they return with new guests. This time together with renowned and award-winning blues pianist and singer Eden Brent from Mississippi, USA and Norwegian Kim Fairchild. 

This year we also show what a fantastic local music scene there is in Notodden. On the artist drop this week you will also find Spoonful of Blues Family Revival, Lady J and Her Bada Bing Bang feat. Tommy Larsen, Relaoded Norway and Spoonful of Blues. 
Today Reloaded Norway is making a splash with a new line-up since they last played at Notodden Blues Festival. Guitarist Guy Collins and drummer Håkon Kruge have joined. We look forward to seeing them at Notodden Blues Festival 2026. 

It is a pleasure to announce the fantastic multi Blues Music Awards-winning artist Eden Brent for Notodden Blues Festival 2026. Eden Brent is a powerhouse of an artist from Greenville, Mississippi. This will be her first return to Notodden since 2012.

Eden Brent will be making several appearances at Notodden this year, including the Blues Cruise with MS Telemarken. We look forward to Eden Brent coming to add color to this year's Notodden Blues Festival.
