Pythons

FridayAugust 2kl. 17:00

The Pythons are one of the newest additions to the band scene at Notodden. They have been playing together since the end of 2021 and have new achievements every single year.

They also played at last year's Notodden Blues Festival, and made such a fine impression that they have renewed confidence. Python's repertoire consists of both his own songs and his own cover versions of other people's songs. Together, the band consists of Even Fjelle, Markus Kjosar, Aasmund Thorsås Andersen, Vilja Fredheim, Knut Olav Sandnes Bakken and Julie Lie Karlberg.

The Pythons are well known for creating a great atmosphere on stage, and deliver better and better performances with each performance they have together. The last concert they had was a warm-up concert for the well-known Norwegian country band Byting, where they rocked the audience well before Byting took over.

Now the guys in the band are planning their debut album for release in the new year. Inspired by Mötley Crüe, TNT, AC/DC, The Cult and Backstreet Girls, the songs have hard rock undertones, but they also have several hints of blues. Several of these songs will now be presented at the festival, together with several cover songs performed by Vilja Fredheim and Julie Lie Karlberg on vocals.
